Through my early 30’s I attracted every flavor of wrong men: unavailable, uninteresting men, players and nice guys who were into me but the farthest thing from my ideal match. Or it was more often a brutal dating desert. No dates for months on end. I knew in my heart (plus my friends + family affirmed) that I was a great catch, yet my reality made me question myself. It was very confusing and disheartening.

Being an overachiever, I “did” all the things you’re supposed to “do” to find love. I was online, I got set up, asked for advice from married friends, went out to meet guys on the weekend… None of it was working and I wasn’t enjoying it! All this (failed) action made me feel like something was wrong with me and that I was undesirable. Plus I was exhausted.

Luckily, I had the courage to pause and get real. I took responsibility for the fact that I was the common denominator in my history with men. There had to be something about my energy, my mindset and the vibe I was giving off that was keeping me single.

I dove into personal growth and learned that my energy was blocking love.
